SIESTA KEY DRUM CIRCLE - every Sunday
About 1 hour before sunset on Siesta
Public Beach the community drum circle plays every Sunday in Sarasota.
This group sports drums, cymbals, maracas, and anything else that will add
to the beat. Each gathering lasts about an hour, and everyone is
welcome. This is not a commercial event.

SCULPTURE CONTEST - May 3, 2008
The annual event is held on Siesta
Key Public Beach, children and adults can compete in this free event for
cash prizes for the first, second and third place in each category.
Registration at 8:30 a.m. Contest begins at 9:00 a.m.

23rd Suncoast Offshore Grand Prix
Festival. Over the past 22 years, proceeds from this festival have
resulted in the construction of more than $8 million in facilities serving
physically and mentally challenged individuals.
SIESTA KEY CHAMBER 4TH OF
JULY - July 4, 2008
9:00 p.m. at Siesta Beach. This
annual event includes the latest and greatest in pyrotechnics set to music
for a truly dazzling nighttime extravaganza. And its FREE! VIP
